I see a massage not only as a luxury product, but also to combat complaints such as stress, sleeping problems, neck and back pain. Did you know that an hour of massage equals eight hours of sleep? Partly because of this, it has a positive effect on your physical, emotional and mental well-being.

For me, one of the benefits of massaging someone else is that it also relaxes me. That was one of the reasons for putting it into practice.

In Thailand I followed my first massage course: Thai yoga massage. A beautiful and educational experience to learn the fine (massage) tricks of the trade from Thai experts. After that I followed various courses in the Netherlands, including relaxation and pregnancy massage. This allows me to apply different techniques while massaging.

Living consciously and being aware of your body is important to me. I believe that massages help you with that. For example, think of the sensations you feel while being massaged. In addition to massaging, I practice Reiki. I also apply this in my massages.
